Bonfire Night falls on Thursday 5 November 2026.
However, Hampshire’s fireworks celebrations aren’t restricted to one night. Events start during October half term and continue into the weekend after Bonfire Night.
Saturday 7 November 2026 is particularly busy, with displays taking place across the county.
There are fireworks events across Hampshire, including Southampton, Winchester, Gosport, Andover, Romsey, Bordon, Totton, Hayling Island, Petersfield, Southsea, Fawley, Bishop’s Waltham and the New Forest.
That means you should be able to find a display without travelling too far.
For families, organised fireworks events can also be one of the best family days out in Hampshire during the autumn. Many include entertainment, food and other activities alongside the main display.
November evenings can get very cold, particularly if you’re standing outside for several hours.
Wrap up warmly and consider waterproof footwear if the event takes place on grass. Ear defenders can also be useful for younger children or anyone sensitive to loud noises.
Always check individual event information before setting off. Some displays require advance tickets, while parking arrangements and entry rules vary between venues.
