Taking place from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 March 2027, the programme runs from 10am until 1.55pm each day at the college’s main Brockenhurst campus.

The event is designed to bring science and STEM subjects to life through practical activities and opportunities to learn from visiting speakers.
If you are looking for educational things to do in Hampshire for secondary school students, British Science Week at Brock offers a hands-on introduction to STEM.
Interactive science for Year 10 students
Rather than simply sitting through presentations, students will have opportunities to take part in a varied programme of activities.
Brockenhurst College has confirmed that the 2027 programme will include interactive sessions, workshops, guest lectures and live demonstrations.
The full programme has not yet been published, so individual subjects, speakers and demonstrations may be announced closer to the event.
Previous British Science Week programmes at Brock have explored subjects including physics, engineering, psychology, sport science, maritime industries, environmental science and health and social care.
Bringing STEM subjects to life
Brockenhurst College has a strong focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through its STEM Academy.
Students at the college can access additional activities including competitions, educational trips, robotics enrichment and talks from visiting speakers. British Science Week is also part of this wider programme.
In 2026, more than 150 visiting pupils took part in Brock’s British Science Week programme. One of the highlights was an Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula 1 car.
Previous years have also included robotics workshops, virtual reality experiences and an inflatable planetarium.
These previous activities give an idea of the variety Brock has brought to British Science Week, although the 2027 programme may be different.
