These chocolate making parties are designed for chocolate-loving children and teenagers who want more than the usual party games. Each session is interactive, well-paced, and led by friendly professional chocolatiers who know how to keep young guests engaged.

No plastic party bags needed. Everyone leaves with chocolates they made themselves.

Who Are These Chocolate Parties For?

Chocolate Craft offers two party styles to suit different ages:

Children’s Chocolate Parties

• Suitable for children aged 6 and over

Teen Chocolate Parties

• Suitable for ages 11/12 and over

Please note: these parties are not suitable for children with a hazelnut allergy, as hazelnuts are used on the premises.

Party Size, Location and Duration

Group size:

• Up to 16 children at the Old Alresford workshop
• 10+ guests at an off-site venue, subject to space

Location:

• Chocolate Craft workshop, Old Alresford, Hampshire
• Or a venue of your choice for larger groups

Duration:

1.5 hours

The format is ideal for keeping energy levels high while giving everyone time to create something special.

What Happens at Children’s Chocolate Parties?

Children’s parties begin with something truly memorable. Guests explore a real cocoa pod and cocoa beans, while tasting different types of chocolate.

Each child then chooses a chocolate mould and learns how to pipe chocolate into it. This is followed by dipping giant marshmallows into chocolate and decorating them with chocolate beans, sugar pieces, and fun toppings.

Children are then taught piping skills using chocolate. After a short practice, everyone decorates their own blank chocolate lolly.

Once the moulded chocolates are ready, everything is demoulded, packaged, and tied with ribbon. The result is a chocolate-filled takeaway box that replaces the need for party bags.

What Happens at Teen Chocolate Parties?

Teen parties take things up a level with more hands-on techniques.

The session starts with learning how chocolate is made, followed by tastings and a demonstration by a professional chocolatier.

Each guest then creates their own unique ganache using a range of natural ingredients. They pipe their filling into chocolate moulds and learn professional decorating techniques using fine piping skills.

After practising, teens decorate their own chocolate lolly and finish their chocolates with confidence.

At the end of the session, everyone takes home:

• A box of around 14 handmade chocolates per child
• One decorated chocolate lolly

Numbers can be adjusted before the final balance is due. Refunds are not available after final payment for non-attendees.
