Become a Wrestler with KAPOW

For those who dream of stepping into the ring, KAPOW offers the chance to train professionally and work towards becoming a performer. Children and adults of all abilities are welcome, from complete beginners to those looking to develop their skills further.

Training sessions run multiple times each week under the guidance of head trainer Kris Kay, a veteran of the British wrestling scene with decades of experience. Sessions focus on technique, fitness, ring psychology and performance, building confidence as well as physical ability.

With more than 100 wrestling shows every year, KAPOW stands apart as a promotion that actively supports its trainees. Wrestlers are guided from training through to live performances, helping them move from trainees to working professionals.

The Kapowerhouse Wrestling Training School

The Kapowerhouse is Southampton’s only dedicated professional wrestling training school. It features two permanently installed wrestling rings and hosts regular training sessions for both children and adults.

Alongside in-house coaching, the Kapowerhouse has welcomed guest seminars from well-known wrestlers, giving trainees insight into the wider wrestling industry. The focus remains on safe training, skill development and creating real opportunities within professional wrestling.

Ring Hire and Wrestling Event Services

KAPOW also provides ring hire and event support for wrestling shows and entertainment events. Services include a professional wrestling ring, steel cage options and full production solutions.

These services suit local wrestling showcases, major tournaments and corporate entertainment events, with experienced teams on hand to support both performers and organisers.
