Muddycreek Farm sits on the edge of Milford on Sea, just three miles south of the New Forest National Park open heathland. The site forms part of a working commoning farm. The family manages a small herd of New Forest ponies and cattle, including their stallion Sway Scrumpy Jack.

You camp within 15 acres of open fields, with up to 60 pitches spaced out for comfort. The atmosphere feels friendly and laid back. Many visitors return year after year for the relaxed setting and superb location.

Tents and Campervans Only – Proper Summer Camping

This is traditional camping at its best. The site welcomes tents and campervans only. Caravans and motorhomes are not permitted.

Free freezer block exchange

You can bring up to two dogs per pitch free of charge, as long as they remain on leads. The campsite allows small campfires, and firewood is available to buy on site.

The team keeps costs down by not charging for dogs, gazebos, extra cars, visitors or fires.

One of the biggest draws is the location. You can walk into Milford village in just 10 minutes. The village offers pubs, restaurants, shops and access to wonderful beaches.

Friday Pizza Nights and Weekend Breakfasts

Friday night means pizza night. Rural Pizza Company visits the site and cooks fresh, made-to-order pizzas between 5pm and 9.30pm. It is an easy, stress-free dinner after a day outdoors.

New for weekends in 2026, a breakfast van will serve hot drinks and morning food on Saturdays and Sundays. You can even pre-book picnic lunches for days out.

Family-Friendly and Peaceful

Muddycreek Farm Campsite suits families and couples who value a peaceful stay. The site asks guests to keep noise down after 10pm.

The team does not accept large groups. Small family groups are welcome within set limits, but it is best to call ahead if you plan to camp together.

2026 Camping Dates and Booking

The campsite opens for a limited 28 days each year. For summer 2026, bookings run from:

• 24 July to 15 August
• 21 and 22 August
• 28 to 31 August

A minimum two-night stay applies at weekends, with three nights over bank holiday weekend.
