Portchester Community Centre – The Heart of the Community

Located in the centre of Portchester and surrounded by open green space, Portchester Community Centre is a welcoming hub where everyone can connect, learn, and have fun. The original centre has been part of the community since the 1960s, and our modern, purpose-built venue—completed in 2012—continues that legacy today. With bright, flexible facilities and a friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for gatherings, celebrations, and activities of all kinds.

Our centre offers five modern halls of different sizes, ideal for everything from family parties and business meetings to fitness classes and workshops. Each room benefits from natural light and easy access to our beautiful courtyard gardens, creating a relaxed and enjoyable setting for guests. You’ll also find ample free parking, fully equipped kitchens, and a dedicated team ready to help make your event run smoothly.

Beyond venue hire, Portchester Community Centre is home to a busy year-round programme of clubs, classes, and social groups. From yoga sessions and children’s activities to community coffee mornings and craft workshops, there’s always something happening. It’s a place where people come together, make friends, and feel part of something special.

Whether you’re looking to hire a hall for a private event or join a local group, we make it easy. Our flexible spaces are available seven days a week, and we’re always happy to help you find the perfect room for your needs.
