Great Food, Proper Pub Atmosphere
One of the biggest advantages of hiring The Platform Tavern is the food. The kitchen serves homemade British pub classics that guests genuinely look forward to.
Think hearty pies, beer battered fish and chips, the signature Platform Burger, freshly made pizzas and seasonal specials. If you are planning a Sunday event, the famous roasts are always a crowd pleaser.
This is private hire in Southampton where the catering is part of the experience, not an afterthought.
Add Live Music to Your Event
The Platform Tavern is known as one of the best live music pubs in Southampton. If you want to add live blues, rock or acoustic sessions to your celebration, this venue already has the setup and expertise to make it happen.
It is perfect for parties that need energy, atmosphere and a proper buzz.
A Venue with a Story
Few private hire venues in Hampshire can match the history here. The pub overlooks the spot where Titanic once moored and even features in James Cameron’s film Titanic. Its maritime roots and long-standing place in Southampton’s story give your event a real sense of place.
It is memorable before the party has even started.
