Learn Autumnal Watercolour Painting
Pumpkins come in far more interesting shapes than the perfectly round orange versions we often picture.
During this workshop, you'll work from real pumpkins, taking inspiration from their colours, bumps, twists, curves and textures.
Alison will begin with a gentle introduction to watercolour painting.
You'll experiment with straightforward techniques for creating texture, depth and detail before putting your new skills into practice.
Then you'll create your own collection of pumpkin illustrations using the real-life examples around you for inspiration.
Perfect for Watercolour Beginners
You don't need any previous painting experience to join the workshop.
Alison has designed the session to be accessible, friendly and relaxed, whether this is your first time using watercolours or you already enjoy painting.
There is no expectation to create a perfect finished picture.
Instead, the emphasis is on experimenting, learning how watercolour behaves and enjoying the creative process.
All the materials you need will be waiting for you, so there's no need to buy equipment beforehand.
